These workshops will have a different theme each month but as always you can show up and paint whatever you want

2-day workshop plus one additional day working 1 on 1 with the artist following the workshop.
In these work shops artists can bring in a grouping of no more than 4 completed paintings so we can discuss and undercover problems that we may not see when we examine paintings in progress in a hurried class setting.

9:00 am to 4:30 pm each day
Class size limited to 6 artists.
Workshop fee: $165
Classes held in my Fort Collins Studio. NO Turpentine, mineral spirits, Turpenoid or solvents allowed, when you show up for class we will discuss non-hazardous alternatives. Mediums are limited to oils such as: walnut oil, linseed oil, poppy seed oil , stand oil etc and Liquin.
Learn the fundamentals of painting in a fun , no pressure environment. Paint along with the instructor, one on one instruction and demonstrations. We will learn about the artist’s materials, composition, mood, atmosphere, color mixing, movement, design, and just how to have fun with paint. This class will go through the entire painting process from start to finished paintings you will be proud to hang. We will learn how to set up simple and complex still life paintings. We will then paint these paintings from start to completion using expressive colors and brushwork. This class covers setting up models to completed expressive painting. This class will focus on having fun while we master the fundamentals and develop your own unique singular style. We will also cover Gallery representation and shows so we can sell our masterpieces.
